Volunteers at the Aid Station are asked to assist in handing out Gatorade, water, and bananas to over 45,000 runners throughout the race. Along with Chicago Run staff, volunteers help serve as crowd support and cheering squads for our Marathon Charity Team as well as all the runners. The Aid Station is located in the Pilsen neighborhood, at Mile 20 on the Marathon Route (an ideal place to cheer on your friends and family and watch the race!). Fun Runs typically attract over 4,000 participants from across the city.  This is the perfect opportunity to witness the powerful impact Chicago Run has on Chicago Public School children.  Volunteers help hand out healthy snacks, water, and finisher ribbons and most importantly, cheer on our students.  This is a great team building opportunity for companies.
