This month we celebrate our first 100 mile runners of the 2011-2012 season! Rose, Francis, and Luke from Sutherland Elementary are the first students to reach 100 miles and earn the coveted Chicago Run trophy!

Chicago Run children have run over 190,000 miles since September and are still moving strong throughout the winter. Through the Chicago Run program, there are at least 12 schools with children who have already completed one marathon at the half way point, and there are four schools that have completed two marathons! This is a testament to the hard work of our teachers and students across the city to get up and running!
